Come join us on Sunday, March 18 at 2:00pm for our Spring Equinox Rite.
We will celebrate the Equinox and honor Idunn, the Norse goddess who guards the fruits of immortality for the Aesir. As such, she represents rebirth and rejuvenation, perfect for the Spring Equinox. We’ll be working with the myth of the Kidnapping of Idunn. We’ll do a guided meditation to retrieve Idunn from her captivity, followed by a ceremony in which we will all participate in bringing her back to Asgard and keeping her safe. In this way we hope to conjure spring and keep it around! Bring an apple or a nut if you’d like to place it in our created Asgard for Idunn.
Our rite will be held at Ripley Greer in studio 16P at 520 8th Ave 16th floor.
Please bring non-perishable food items to the rite, we will take your items to a local food bank where it will help those who struggle to have enough to eat.
Donations to cover renting the room and other administrative functions of the Grove are most welcomed. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
You are welcome to join us after the rite when we go to a local restaurant for good drink, good food, and good company.
