A Guide to the Summer Lands - A Samhain Celebration

-

The Great Hill, Central Park
New York, NY 10025
United States

Join Inis Ull Apple Isle Grove as we celebrate Samhain with Manannan Mac Lir the Irish Celtic God of the Sea. This is the time of the year when the veil between the worlds is thin. So we remember our ancestors, but also ask the God to help those who have passed this year as they cross over to the summer lands. Bring pictures of loved ones who have passed and offerings for them.

We will meet at the oak tree on the Great Hill in Central Park. This is a free event, and you do not have to bring anything. However, we encourage people to bring offerings to the gods if they so wish. We recommend that you use generic bottles and containers if you are bringing alcoholic offerings. We also will be collecting unopened, non-perishable foodstuffs and toys for the West Side Campaign Against Hunger, so we encourage people to bring whatever they'd like to donate.
