The Great Hill, Central Park
New York, NY 10025
Join us for the Autumn Equinox! We will honor Sif, the Norse Goddess of the grain and harvest. Lore tells us that Loki stole Sif's golden hair, but was forced to give her even more beautiful hair woven from real gold. We will work with this story to return Sif's hair to her and to bring a plentiful harvest to all our lives. This ritual will feature a Sumbel.
We will meet at the oak tree on the Great Hill in Central Park. This is a free event, and you do not have to bring anything. However, we encourage people to bring offerings to the gods if they so wish. We recommend that you use generic bottles and containers if you are bringing alcoholic offerings. We also will be collecting unopened, non-perishable foodstuffs and toys for the West Side Campaign Against Hunger, so we encourage people to bring whatever they'd like to donate.
