Sony Building Public Atrium
New York, NY 10022
For those of us interested in all things Indo-European, let's learn something about the language of our ancestors. We'll talk about the discovery of the Indo-European language family and some of its characteristics. We'll also explore some theories on where the Indo-European people were originally from, and we'll learn about some English words which can be traced back to Indo-European roots, especially those that have ritual or religious importance to us. There will be handouts, some in color! Join us for what we hope will be a lively discussion of a fascinating topic.
We'll be meeting on May 15, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the public atrium at the Sony Building, 550Madison Ave. between 55th and 56th Streets.
