Inis Úll - Apple Isle Grove, ADF cordially invites you to our 2015 Lughnasa High Day celebration: Caorthannach and The Fruits of Our Harvest. The ritual will take place on Saturday, August 8th at 3pm on the Great Hill in Central Park. The great serpent Goddess Caorthannach was vilified and (quite literally) demonized by Patrick and his conspirators. They feared her primal powers which could surge from deep within the earth or bolt from the sky above. Even worse, from their point of view, she would never allow herself to be subjected by their doctrinal patriarchy.
